Prof. Dr. TURGAY AKGÜL

1974 yılında Üsküdar'da doğdum.

Lise eğitimimi Malatya Fen Lisesi'nde Tıp Fakültesi eğitimimi ise Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nde 1998 yılında tamamlayarak mezun oldum.

Aynı yıl Tıpta Uzmanlık Sınavını kazanarak Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Hastanesi Üroloji Kliniği'ni kazanarak Üroloji Asistanlığına başladım. 2003 Ocak' ta Üroloji Uzmanı, 2010 yılında Üroloji Doçenti oldum. 

Uluslararası ve ulusal dergilerde yayımlanmış 100'ün üzerinde bilimsel makale, çalışma ve bildirilerim mevcuttur. Editörlüğünü yaptığım 2 adet bilimsel kitabım ve ayrıca yazdığım kitap bölümleri vardır. Aynı zamanda uluslararası ve ulusal dergilerin Yönetim Kurullarında ve Danışmanlık Kurullarında görev yapmaktayım. 

Avrupa Üroloji Derneği, Türk Üroloji Derneği, Androloji Derneği ve Kontinans Derneği üyesiyim.
